This mount originally was designed to bolt to a fire rig engine cover. it will work on any flat surface. Either a swing arm or a sliding swing arm is bolted to the flat base plate. A tilt and swivel laptop tray is bolted to the arm to complete the assembly.

Maximum reach for a swing arm assembly is 9".

Maximum reach for a sliding swing arm assembly is 17".

The Troy U-shape mount straddles any TROY standard-width (8 7/8") consoles with parallel walls where the U mount is bolted in place.

A swing arm that is bolted to the U mount locks positive every 30°. The swing arm supports a tilt and swivel laptop tray to complete the assembly.

The standard MC console-insert mount has a flat surface with a swing arm and a tilt & swivel mount for a laptop computer. You can use either a swing-arm or a sliding swing-arm with this mount. The clearance between the mount and face level area of the console is 2.63".

U-SHAPE MOUNT

This laptop mount is designed to work specifically with any Troy MC or MODCON console. (A similar mount is available for a CC-C06 console and for a CC-C07 console.) A swing arm is bolted to the mounting platform and will lock positive every 30°. A tilt and swivel laptop tray is mounted to the swing arm to complete the assembly

This mount is designed to fit into the 7" sloped area of the following TROY MC console only:

CC-MC-14, CC-MC14-SC, CC-MC-16, CC-MC16-NS, CC-MC-18, CC-MC-22, CC-MC-25, CC-MC-30 and CC-MC30-RAC

To retrofit this mount into a MC console you already have in your possession, you must remove the face plate rails in the 7" sloped section and drill out the four (4) rail mounting holes to .281 (9/32"). When you order the console and MC laptop mount at the same time, TROY will ship the parts ready to assemble without you having to drill any holes.

There are two MC console-insert mount models to choose from - standard height (CM-MC-7) and the low-profile one (CM-MC7-LP). Both models feature a swing arm designed to rotate 180° and lock positive every 30°. A tilt and swivel laptop tray is bolted to the top of the swing arm to complete the assembly.

TROY's pedestal mount is designed to bolt to a TROY 10 ga. console floor plate.

An outer square-tube post houses an inner square tube insert that can be adjusted in height and secured into place with a hand lever. A 9" sliding swing arm is capable of rotating 360° and locks positive every 30°. The arm is designed also to slide a length of 8". A cam lever allows the user to positive-lock the arm anywhere along the 8" travel.

A tilt and swivel laptop tray bolts to the arm to complete the assembly.

TROY has a height-adjustable side mount that bolts to the side of a TROY console with enough wall space to accommodate the 3.25" x 3.25" plate to which the square-tube post is welded. The plate is made from 11ga. cold rolled steel.

The top of the inner square tube features a notched disk. The sliding swing arm can rotate 360° and locks positive in each notch (every 30°). The arm slides out an additional 8" for an overall maximum reach of 17". The arm will lock positive anywhere along the length of travel. Mounted to the top of the arm is a tilt and swivel laptop tray.

Side Mount Sliding Swing-Arm Assembly (Max. 17" Reach)

Use our MC low-profile console-insert model only when the overall height of both the mount and laptop is a critical issue. the low-profile model is 1.23" lower in vertically than the standard one. However, due to a specific design feature, you can use only the swing-arm assembly with this low-profile mount. The maximum reach is 9".

 

IMPORTANT NOTE: The vertical clearance surface between the low-profile console-insert mount and the face plate mounting area is 1.4". Keep this in mind when you consider the components that will be installed in the console. Once fitted to a face plate, if any control head (including knobs) protrudes beyond the face plate by 1.4" or more, it will be in the pathway of the swing arm. If this is the case, it's possible you can re-locate the control head farther down the face plate if the tabs are long enough. If not, use the standard CM-MC7 model.

Passenger vehicle seat mounting solutions are vehicle specific. A seat-bolt bracket and side strut secure the mount into place using OEM hardware and mounting points. The outer square-tube post houses an inner square-tube insert that can be adjusted in height and secured into place with a hand lever.

At the top of the post is a notched disk to which is bolted a sliding swing arm. The 9" arm rotates a full 360° and locks positive in each notch (every 30°). The arm also slides out an additional 8" (for a maximum reach of 17"). It locks positive anywhere along the 8" length of travel.

To the top of the arm is bolted a tilt and swivel laptop tray to complete the side mount assembly.
