Some Crown Vics are ordered with the Crown wire harness package bolted to the transmission hump. We can pre-notch the cage and the kick panels to fit over this harness package. To order this special feature, use the correct cage part number but also add the suffix of -AZ. For example, if you were going to order a half polycarb/half mesh window - TP-SB3US-F - the part number would be modified as follows: TP-SB3US-F-AZ.

Asincredible as it may sound, some agencies have reported that detainees have squeezed through the small opening in the sliding window partition! We have two solutions to this problem.

Solution 1: We add an extra vertical bracket such that it halves the crawl-through space. This additional bracket to the TP-1 window is characterized by the suffix -FW to the cage part number you want to order. Click here to see image.

Solution 2: We add a mesh window to the TP-1 window such that when the sliding window is fully open, the entire crawl-through space is covered. This style is referred to as "Chicago Style." When ordering a cage be sure to add the words "Chicago Style" so we know to add the mesh window.

For TP-3 (50-50 -- half polycarbonate / half vinyl-dipped mesh) partition, we offer a 75/25 design where the polycarbonate portion is 75% while the vinyl dipped mesh is only 25%. This design eliminates the placement of the metal bracket in the middle of the window so you don't see it in the rear-view mirror. You have better field of vision.
